Sometimes Life Sucks

I'm going to keep this post short this week because it's going to be mostly negative, and that's not my brand. But, being transparent and honest is my brand. And this week I just need to be in my feelings for a second and get a little real with you guys.

Sometimes life sucks. That's the reality, and a harsh one at that. Sometimes you have horrible days, or weeks, or months. Sometimes bad thoughts creep in and you can't shake them. Sometimes something someone does or says stings a little more than usual, and you have no idea why. I have no idea why. All I know is that's kind of how I'm feeling this week. It seems like I've had a trillion and one bad things happen to me this week, but the reality is I've probably had a gazillion and one incredible things happen to me this week. My class was cancelled on Friday, there's one. I got Chipotle on Monday with one of my best friends, boom, TWO. Also, I'M GOING TO FREAKING SOUTH AFRICA! (I will touch on this more in a couple of weeks when I'm in a better mood and I can fathom that I'm actually going to South Africa)

This post is a lesson for you, I suppose, but honestly is more for me. I'm confused in my feelings and I don't understand where this cloud of sadness has approached from, but I'm ready to be my usual happy self again. I guess what I'm trying to say is that bad days are okay. You're allowed to feel exhausted and sad and lonely and your feelings are valid. Never apologize for being in a bad mood, or if someone offended you or hurt your feelings. This is something I struggle with C-O-N-S-T-A-N-T-L-Y. But in 2018, I'm leaving my apologetic self behind, and bringing the sunshine-y Sierra back that we all know and love (I hope?).

I have no idea what this post is. Don't worry about me. It's just been a rough week, but we all have 'em. I love you guys, thanks for the support. You are part of my gazillion and one incredible things.
